In my Angel books, "Starlight Wishes" and "Sunrise Kisses," I mention a lighthouse called False Cape Light. This is a fictitious lighthouse. I needed a secluded, abandoned place on the beach in my stories, so I took liberties as a fiction writer and created one. There really is an old lighthouse in Virginia Beach, but it's not located where I have it in my books. It is the Cape Henry Lighthouse, located in the northern part of Virginia Beach on the Army base called Fort Story. The old one stands right next to the new one they built, which is still in use today. The old one can be toured by anyone, after a thorough car search before getting on base.
