Upcoming Event
I'm happy to announce that I will be participating in the Virginia Thanksgiving Festival at Berkeley Hundred Plantation in Charles City, Virginia. This will be on Sunday, November 7, starting at noon until 5:00 p.m. This is a fun festival that includes children's activities, wandering minstrels, performances by local choirs, guided house tours, tribal dancers, costumed interpreters, encampment, speakers and a reenactment of the First Official Thanksgiving. If you've read my Wellington Cross books, this plantation is my inspiration for Wellington Cross. I even wrote about this festival in Wellington Cross, where Madeline attends with William, and she tries to talk to Ethan about his father. Two of my favorite things from the festival in years past are the "Thanksgiving dinner in a glass" as well as the Chickahominy Dancers. I'll be signing and selling my books there. Read more about this festival on Berkeley's website under Calendar.
